Lonnie
Weinstock-Galate (Spin, Cardio Circuit, Personal
Training and Pilates) founded Malibu Fitness in 1986. A certified
AFAA aerobics instructor and personal trainer, she has a bachelor’s
degree in physical education and a teaching credential. Lonnie
is a former competitive gymnast and has a passion for health
and fitness. “I believe there’s something for
people of all ages, shapes and sizes,” she says. She
lives in Malibu with her husband, Chris, and two children,
Michael and Sophie. |

Mary
Pritchett (Spin, Cardio Circuit, Aerobic/Body Sculpt,
Personal Training and Pilates) is a co- founder of Malibu
Fitness with ISSA and AFAA credentials. She is a 25-year veteran
of the fitness industry with a wealth of experience in one-on-one,
small group and boot camp training. She lives in Malibu with
her two children, Cassidy and Jesse. |

Mia Altobello (Get On the Ball, Personal Training) is the general manager at Malibu Fitness. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sport science from Pepperdine University, and is an AFAA certified personal trainer. She designed the dynamic “Get on the Ball” class, which combines muscle strengthening and stretching, balance, and spinal stabilization. She resides in Malibu with her husband and two daughters, Tessa and Emma. |

Lauren Peterson (Yoga) is an internationally recognized lyengar yoga student and advanced (Fourth Series) Ashtanga yoga practitioner. Frequently featured in Yoga Journal, she has taught more than 1,000 classes and workshops around the world and is known for her award-winning practice CD, “The Yogi’s Companion.” She lives in Malibu with her son, Sashee. |

Debby Feldman (Dance, Beginning Aerobics) has a master’s degree from UCLA in dance & choreography and is a certified fitness instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine. A 20-year Malibu Fitness veteran, she is also an aerobics/dance professor at Pepperdine University and proprietor of “Dance with Debby,” her personal training business.

Debby passed away September 2004. We will all miss her and remember her as we "keep moving" throughout our lives. |

Clytie Lane (Pilates) is a fully certified personal trainer and Pilates practitioner, holding bachelor's degrees in contemporary dance and English literature. Hailing from London, she weaves together all of her passions as creatively as possible, including writing, acting, storytelling, and yoga, Pilates and meditation instruction. "It's all about being!" she says. |

Devo Brown (Spin, Personal Training) has had a hand in almost everything—from building bodies to fabricating custom motorcycles and hot rods, working on television and film sets, and delving into the aerospace industry. He claims to have gone out and conquered all of his dreams—traveling the entire Northern Hemisphere, surfing 20-ft. waves, and skydiving. It looks like he’s landed in Malibu to stay. |

Corey
Coombs (Dance) is the newest dance teacher at Malibu
Fitness. Born in Barbados and raised in Montreal, he has an
expansive dance resume and various dance backgrounds including
Hip-Hop Funk, Jazz, Modern and Ballet. His experiences in
showcases and dancing events have led him to the challenge
of teaching students at different levels. Now an L.A. resident,
he choreographs several showcases a year, conducts private
dance lessons and helps in the development of up-and-coming
recording artists. |

Lavinia Hudson (Dance) is a classically trained dancer, specializing in classical ballet and modern jazz. Originally from London, she has performed in numerous productions on television, stage and film. Now a Malibu resident, she focuses on choreography and teaching. She resides with her husband and two children. |

Nina
Greenberg (Spin, Personal Training) is a certified
personal trainer with a bachelo's degree in science from UCLA.
She is an accomplished triathlete and long distance runner.
Incorporating traditional weight workouts with sport-specific
exercises, agility and basic training, her workouts are both
challenging and result-driven. |

Molly Maclin (Spin, Aerobics)) is a UCLA graduate with a passion for the arts, music and what makes people tick. Originally from Minnesota, she now calls sunny Southern California her home. A rigorous spin instructor, revered personal trainer and accomplished artist, she has also been bitten by the modeling and acting bugs. When she's not in the gym, you might catch her watching the Timberwolves or running along Zuma Beach. |

Angela Joyce (Choreography,
Dance) has been a professional dancer since she was seven years
of age. A Malibu High School alumnus, she has completed 2 years
at Santa Monica College and has been accepted to UCLA to continue
her college education. She is currently pursuing a career in
the entertainment industry, having recently worked on projects
such as "Tropic Thunder" directed by Ben Stiller and
"Step Brothers" with Will Ferrel. Her passionate and
exciting teaching methods keep her students coming back for
more. |

Ignacio
Rodriguez, "Iñigo" (Management) is the
friendly smile behind the club's business operations. A graduate
of Cal State Channel Islands, he holds a Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Strategy.
He looks forward to continuing his education at graduate school
and starting his own business one day. Originally from Madrid,
Spain, he is an acomplished soccer player and MHS alumnus. |

Laura Iacuessa (Pilates) is an accomplished and distinguished teacher, choreographer and dancer. Certified to teach both Pilates and Yoga, she also holds an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. With 17 years of teaching experience she has led private training sessions across 10 states, and has worked with people of all ages and abilities. Laura returns to Malibu Fitness after leaving So Cal to continue her education. She taught both Pilates and Dance from 1999 to 2002 and is thrilled to be back! |

Silla Siebert (Yoga)
is a Certified Anusara Inspired yoga teacher with a bachelor's
degree in Psychology. Originally from Denmark, she moved from
London to Malibu in 2001 and has been a student of Lauren Peterson
since 2002. Her other master teachers include Erich Schiffmann,
Anthony Benenati, and John Friend. She has taught hundreds of
classes to students of all ages in Malibu, Westlake Village,
and Silverlake. Her teaching focuses on healthy alignment and
an uplifting practice with emphasis on deeply connecting breath,
mind, and body. She lives in Malibu with her husband and their
four chickens. |

Charlie Samos (Yoga) has practiced Ashtanga and Iyenger based yoga for the past twelve years. After taking teacher training in 2003 he began teaching in Southern California. Born and raised in the East Coast he is an alumni of University of Rhode Island who traveled west and never went back. When he is not in the yoga studio you'll find him rock climbing and hiking. |

Joe Giamalva (Tap Dance, Choreography) brings a diversity of experience to his career as a Producer, Director, and Teacher. From a theatrical debut at age 4, he has moved with ease between stage musicals, television, movies and nightclubs. Joe is a master teacher in tap, jazz, and musical theatre, and an adjudicator for major dance competitions |

Peggy Gates (Pilates) has been using Pilates' methods for over twenty years, initially learning various techniques as a ballet dancer. In 1995 she began teaching Pilates in various dance studios, health clubs, and for patient's needing specialized rehabilitation. Peggy is consistently striving to further her Pilates education and has recently become certified in Standing Pilates as a new method. |
